Passport to Mars

To celebrate the 50th anniversary of NASA’s moon landing, we created an educational LEGO sponsored online game series centered around space for Scholastic National Partnerships. Using the five pillars of what it takes to become a NASA astronaut, users ages 5 and up play six games, collecting digital passport stamps after completing each game.
A young space camper is called on to be an astronaut, to build their team, construct a LEGO rocket and lander, land on Mars, farm crops on Mars, create and send a postcard from space, and explore the LEGO City sets with AR mobile component to celebrate space exploration.
In addition to contributing to the overall concept of the games, I created the structure, assets and storyboards for all the games, and directed the work of an illustration and animation team. I collaborated with a brilliant team of developers at Atomic Software for this project. The original three month timeline for the project was cut down to six weeks, and my team delivered on time and under budget.
