Approach
The initiative included a health quiz, a way for parents to find approved childcare providers and advocacy resources for local leaders.
Tips focused on the “Five Healthy Goals” to help prevent childhood obesity are the cornerstone of the resource site.
To better engage childcare providers, there is a quiz to evaluate health initiatives. As an incentive to sign up and take action, childcare providers who complete the quiz and initiatives are added to a map of recognized providers of healthy habits for kids.
